La estadística es una de las herramientas indispensables para la toma de decisiones en el sector empresarial, ingenieril y de investigación. La estadística se puede estudiar desde un punto de vista descriptivo e inferencial. Este curso toma en cuenta sólo la estadística descriptiva, cuyos conceptos luego serán la base para el análisis estadístico inferencial aplicada a la investigación en Ingeniería de Alimentos.
